An annual  chance for all of us to contribute to work across the world that improves the lives of our brothers and sisters.  Christian Aid is currently contributing to disasters’ appeals,  for famine relief in Yemen and floods relief in southern Africa, especially Mozambique. The other focus this Christian Aid week is on Sierra Leone in West Africa, which has been badly  hit by the Ebola crisis.  As well as contributing financially we can ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer to work to alleviate the burden of debt accrued to keep basic services running during the crisis.
